(And after two weeks of quarantine stress eating, the “skinny” was neither one of your event co-hosts CCH Director Clark Seipt, or Communications & Outreach Director Abby Gwaltney. But we digest… er, digress.)

Clark gave a brief overview of the Community Coalition for Haiti and what we do. We discussed how CCH is responding to the corona virus crisis in the U.S. and in Haiti (see blog posts from 3/18 and 3/26, and spoke briefly with some of our staff in Haiti.

Then we highlighted a few of our accomplishments and challenges from 2019 (annual report will be out soon!). And we debuted a brand new video in the “look up” theme. We will post that video to our website, YouTube, and Facebook channels in the next week.

Clark announced a matching fundraising drive. Between now and March 31st, your donation to CCH will be matched dollar for dollar up to $15,000! In this time of global crisis, we all need to pitch in and help one another. Please give generously to help us continue to respond to this healthcare crisis and uplift families in Haiti.

CCH Development Director, Carson Rich, drew the winning raffle ticket. Congratulations to Jossie Biggs, who will be going on a fabulous vacation in the next couple of years when travel becomes safe again. We concluded in prayer and staff stayed on to answer audience questions afterward.
