Large numbers of Haitians are needlessly dying by violence every day. Food, medicine, and other essential goods are hard to find and very expensive. The United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights warned the world of the deepening crisis in Haiti in February 2024. The United States of America cannot ignore this humanitarian crisis close to our own shores.
